The (new) Board of Directors is currently recruiting for 2 positions and we need your help!

1. Treasurer. Our wonderful and long-serving Treasurer needs a break, so we are urgently searching for someone to take her place. She has been doing this job wonderfully for many, many years and we hate to see her go, but everyone needs a break at some point. Ideally this person would be familiar with 501(c)3 Non-Profit accounting and be bonded. If you are interested, please contact any member of the Board of Directors!
2. Legal Representation. Again, the person filling this role has been doing it for many, many years and is ready to let someone else take over. Again, the ideal person would be licensed to practice law in more than one state, and be familiar with 501(c)3 and/or animal rescue organizations, but we’re always open to suggestions! Please contact the Board if you are interested or have any friends or relatives who might be interested.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas filled with Fuzzy faces, big beardie and neardie  kisses, soft nose bumps and wagging tails! Give thanks for the four-footed ones with whom you share your lives.

Let us all remember the lives we have saved — both dogs and the people who have adopted those dogs — over the years. Every rescue is 2 lives saved, and isn’t that what this season is all about?
